A few
frequently asked questions
Why is wedding videography such an investment?
We live and breathe our craft, wedding videography and our couples truly matter to us. This means we’re constantly investing in our camera, audio and editing equipment, but more importantly, we’re always investing in our skills and our services. We pour all of that value into our couples and their wedding videos.
Finding the right wedding videographer matters – this isn’t just about your wedding day, it’s about the years to come and how you want to remember your wedding, and how you want others to remember your wedding.
What areas do you cover?
We offer videography across all of the UK, and abroad. We’re based in the East Midlands and we love to travel in the UK and overseas. For events over two hours away, we may ask for a small fee to cover travel expenses, but we keep this as economical as possible.
Can we choose the music for our final film?
We love chatting about your music tastes to get a better understanding of what suits you both. The music choice for your wedding video is one of the most important parts of the editing process for us, and we spend a lot of time finding the right selection in terms of changes in tempo, emotion, lyrics, genre, style and more.
We only use fully licensed music in our films and ultimately we choose the music that best suits you, the footage, and your story.
Are you insured?
Yes. We have public liability and professional indemnity insurance along with our equipment being insured.
Who owns the copyright?
While we retain copyright of the video from your event, our contract gives personal media permissions to our clients for any non-commercial usage. If you have any concerns about privacy please let us know.
What's your availability like?
We only take on a limited number of weddings and projects each year to ensure we provide the level of attention they deserve. If you are thinking about working with us, we do recommend reaching out to us as soon as possible to ensure we have availability and reserving your event date.

Are my recordings safe?
We take the protection of your footage very seriously. From the moment we hit record, your footage is stored in two places.
Our cameras record to two memory cards simultaneously. In the event we can’t record to two memory cards, we record to external storage.
We also film with multiple cameras. This means that a form of hardware failed, we still have your memories captured. We regularly transfer footage from our cameras throughout a shoot, where possible, to ensure it is stored securely, again on at least two storage devices.
Following the shoot, on returning home, your footage is backed-up securely to our network storage appliance (which is fault tolerant and backed up (both locally and to the cloud) to ensure your footage is in three places at all times following industry best practice.
Upon delivery of your finished video, we will always retain the files for a year, just in case you end up needing it.
What resolution will you film in and the video be delivered in?
Unless we’re filming for an extended period of time, we’ll always shoot and deliver your final video in 4K. If the cameras need to roll for an extended period of time, the minimum we shoot is in 1080p (Full HD).
